  1. This book was really good! I found it really interesting and realistic. I really liked the relationship between Apple and Rain 😀

  2. I have finished this book now and it is really good. I got exited like 10 pages into it. I could not put the book down. Now I need another one. 🙂

  3. I found this book very good, despite it being the type of book I wouldn’t usually read. I did not expect the ending at all and it was written incredibly well.

  4. I am reading this book at the moment and it is really good and it’s hard to put the book down because i would like to know what happens next. I am about halfway through the book and can’t wait to find out happens.

  5. The cover is simple but makes me curious, to find out what it is about. Reading this book was an exiting and unique story that I would have found boring if it was in an other way. I found the writer didn’t explain rain until half way through the book.

  6. I really enjoyed this book because the storyline is so realistic. The book has lots of twists in it, making it exciting and worthwhile to read. The book is largely like Jacqueline Wilson’s ‘Tracy Beaker’. The writer uses varied descriptive language, making it enjoyable. I would defiantly recommend this book to other readers.

  7. I have just finished reading Apple and Rain and I loved it! It is a great story about sisterly love and family. Apple is just like me! I also liked how the story was told, through Apple’s eyes. It not only describes the problems of bad change but also the upcoming problems of a teenage girl.

  8. I really loved this book it was really easy to read and I loved the way the characters developed throughout the book. It was really great in the way each chapter was different. It did however make me cry but that’s all part of the experience.

  9. Apple and Rain is a fantastic, heart-breaking story about love and families and the strength of a young girl ‘Apple’ who is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her family together against all the odds. This is a book that I’m glad I read. Recommended.

    • I’ve started this book now and I am honestly a bit disappointed. I expected a suspense-filled novel buts that’s now what I got.

  10. This book is a great read! I really enjoyed the way the characters change at every plot twist, this is one of my favourites of them all!

  11. I think Apple And Rain is a great book and is very different to other books. It is written in a poetic way but it doesn’t take away the plot line. From what I have read its a great book and I would recommend it to a person who dosent really like reading because it doesn’t have many difficult words and it makes sense easily. 12. The plot line of Apple and Rain is similar to that of Jacqueline Wilson books, however the style of writing is completely different. It is a heart-wrenching story and not the sort of thing that I would usually read, but I actually loved it and I am going to recommend it to every single one of my friends!

  13. It seems like quite a mature book that is based on emotions so it is not something that I would choose to read. However this is just judging by the cover so i might give it a go and see if I like it after all.

  14. From what I have read so far, its really good and i want to know why the front cover looks like it does. What happened between Apple and Rain?… 🙂
